Applications for the 12th all-Russian Competition, "Librarian of the Year," are now open!

The main organizer of the competition is the National Library of Russia and the co-organizer is the Saint Petersburg State Institute of Culture, with the support of the Russian Library Association.

The competition aims to maintain high standards in the library industry, identify leaders in professional excellence, reward young professionals, promote socially significant library and information projects, exchange experiences, and widely implement innovations in library services to the country's population. Employees of public libraries in Russia with at least two years of experience, as well as full-time students studying in the Library and Information Services (undergraduate and graduate programs) and Library Science (secondary vocational education program), are invited to participate in the all-Russian, "Librarian of the Year, 2025," competition.
