Take part in the discussion of the new RLA Charter!

Until May 22, 2025, the Russian Library Association (RLA) accepts suggestions and comments on the draft of the new version of the Charter.

The decision for the need to update the RLA Charter was made at the 119th meeting of the RLA Board on March 12th. To prepare proposals for amendments and additions to the charter, a special working group was formed by a decision of the RLA Board.

Based on the results of the working group’s activities, a draft of a new version of the RLA Charter was developed, which includes clarifications of some points and wording to bring the text in line with the requirements of modern legislation on NPOs.

The draft will be presented for approval at the XXIX Annual Conference of the RLA, within the framework of the all-Russian Library Congress in Izhevsk.
