The Action Plan for the implementation of the Fundamentals of State Policy for the Preservation and Strengthening of Traditional Russian Spiritual and Moral Values, 2024-2026, was approved
Russian Prime Minister, Mikhail Mishustin, signed an order approving the Action Plan for Strengthening Traditional Russian Spiritual and Moral Values. The document includes 138 points and a set of actions in fourteen areas.
The document lists significant legislative and procedural changes that will occur from 2024 to 2026.
The following holidays are included in the plan as priority dates that need to be supported and celebrated at all levels:
- Day of Slavic Literature and Culture
- Day of Family, Love, and Fidelity
- Victory Day
- National Unity Day
- Russian Language Day
At the same time, major events dedicated to military dates are mentioned:
- Immortal Regiment
- Candle of Memory
- St. George's Ribbon
- Fiery Pictures of War
- Garden of Memory
- Victory Narratives
In addition, the following activities should receive comprehensive support:
- identification and digitization of documents from the Great Patriotic War;
- publication of literature on social and historical topics and promotion through library networks (at least five publications annually);
- the creation of thematic military exhibitions and expositions in museums;
- the all-Russian project, "My History" (strengthening family values); and others.
No later than the 3rd quarter of 2024, regions must develop their own action plans for the implementation of the Fundamentals of State Policy for the Preservation and Strengthening of Traditional Russian Spiritual and Moral Values.
