XI All-Russian Competition, "Librarian of the Year"

The Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Russian National Library, and the St. Petersburg State Institute of Culture invite library employees to take part in the XIth all-Russian competition, "Librarian of the Year,” which will be held with the motto, "My homeland is where my library is.”

Employees of public libraries of Russia with at least two years of work experience and full-time students studying in the fields of, “Library and Information Services," (bachelor's and master's programs) and the specialty, "Library Science," (secondary vocational education program) are invited to participate in the all-Russian competition, "Librarian of the Year - 2024.”

Applications will be accepted until September 3rd, for library staff, and until September 24th, for students.

Competition materials must be sent electronically to the addresses bg@nlr.ru (public library staff) and bif@webmail.spbgik.ru (students).
