These days our country is celebrating the 79th anniversary of the lifting of the siege of Leningrad. The blockade of Leningrad is considered one of the longest and most tragic events in the history of the country. The siege, which lasted exactly 871 days (from September 8, 1941 to January 27, 1944), is not forgotten today. An hour of courage called "Siege Bread" was held with the villagers.
