The Day of the Republic of Tatarstan today is a national holiday in the region. On this day, the President of the Republic traditionally addresses citizens with congratulations. Cities and villages of the region acquire a solemn, festive appearance. Residents of Tatarstan, regardless of their nationality, go out to street festivities and participate in mass events. Celebrations in the cities end with an evening fireworks display. The cafes and restaurants of the cities serve national dishes of Tatar cuisine, which has not lost its uniqueness over a long history. The people carefully preserve the recipes of national dishes, passing them from generation to generation. The Burda Village Library does not stand aside and invites all residents of the village of Burda to a festive concert, mini master classes. There will also be a book exhibition dedicated to the Republic of Tatarstan.
