60 years ago, on June 16, 1963, the launch of the Vostok-6 manned spacecraft took place, on which the world's first female cosmonaut Valentina Tereshkova went into space. Soviet cosmonaut Valentina Tereshkova became the first woman in orbit and the only one to make a single flight in a spacecraft. The launch of Vostok-6 with Tereshkova on board in 1963 was another great achievement of the USSR in the exploration of outer space. In connection with this significant event, the Burdinsky Rural Library invites its readers to an information lesson dedicated to the first flight of a woman into space. Also, children will have a surprise in the form of a trip to space in virtual reality glasses.
