On May 24, Russia celebrates the Day of Slavic Writing and Culture. It is dedicated to the Memorial Day of Saints Cyril and Methodius, Equal-to-the-Apostles, preachers of Orthodoxy, who created the Old Slavonic alphabet and the Church Slavonic language almost 1,158 years ago. This is the only state-church holiday in our country.
On this day, an informational and educational lesson will be held in the Krugopolskaya rural library.
