The image of a woman in literature is almost always inextricably linked with the image of a family. Most of the most famous literary heroines are mothers and wives who are experiencing a love or family crisis, but not a personal one, as opposed to male images. The image of the mother occupies a separate place in Russian literature. The humanistic idea, passing from work to work and characteristic of the works of the nineteenth century, the Golden Age of Russian literature, had a great influence on the formation of this image. The book exhibition will feature works showing maternal love.
