On September 1, 2004, terrorists seized secondary school No. 1 in the city of Beslan (North Ossetia). Breaking into the solemn line in honor of the Day of Knowledge, they took more than a thousand people hostage, including minor children, their parents and employees of the educational institution. The tragedy claimed the lives of 333 civilians, including 186 children.

On September 2, the Day of Solidarity in the Fight against Terrorism will be held in the Krugopol village Library, special attention will be paid to the terrible tragedy in Beslan.
