170 years ago, a man "with a big heart" was born. Maxim Gorky named the Russian writer and public figure Vladimir Galaktionovich Korolenko. He devoted all his feelings, thoughts, desires, all his strength, energy and talent to protecting the interests of the people. Korolenko is the perfect image of a Russian writer. His works have entered the treasury of world literature. At the same time, being a major writer and journalist, Korolenko became one of the first Russian human rights defenders. On the occasion of the writer's birthday, a book exhibition will be held in the Krugopol village Library.
