June 22, 1941 is one of the saddest dates in the history of our Motherland, the beginning of the Great Patriotic War. Hitler's Germany treacherously invaded the territory of the Soviet Union. The Great Patriotic War began. On this day, Russia celebrates the Day of Remembrance and Mourning. It is our duty to preserve the memory of this war, to bring it to our children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
