A journey into Tukai's work

The love for the native language, for the native land and its nature is born from the nursery rhymes and fairy tales of Gabdulla Tukai, who entered the history of Tatar literature as a great poet who laid the foundation of national poetry and created its classical style. Having lived a short life, Tukai left a huge legacy, almost half of which is occupied by children's literature — his works teach children to work, teach them to be good-natured, honest, smart and fair. On the occasion of the birthday of the Tatar poet Gabdulla Tukai, a book exhibition "Tukai lives in our hearts" will be organized at the G.Ibragimov Central Library, where library visitors will be able to get acquainted with the fate and work of the great classic, as well as participate in loud readings by reading poems and excerpts of works.
