akhit Shaikhovich Imamov (tat. Vakhit Shaeh uly Imamov) is a writer, a member of the Writers' Union, chairman of the Naberezhnye Chelny Writers' Organization, Honored Worker of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan. He was born on March 18, 1954 in the village of Staroe Baysarovo in the Aktanyshsky district of the Tatar ASSR. During his ascent to the literary arena, he won the love of a wide range of readers with his lyrical stories. A book exhibition dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the writer will be organized in the Staroabdulovskaya rural library.
