Wizard of Oz" is a fairy tale novel by Alexander Melentyevich Volkov, written in 1939 on the basis of the fairy tale by American writer Lyman Frank Baum "The Amazing Wizard of Oz" with some changes. In 1959, a new edition of the book was published, significantly revised by the author.
