Set a reminder:   /   Upload to calendar

April 19th is the International Snowdrop Festival. Since its inception, the holiday has had an environmental focus. Let there be paper snowdrops made with your own hands in vases, and the real ones are pleasing to the eye in the glades. Let's take care of nature! The snowdrop is the first flower that blooms after a long, cold winter. It symbolizes purity, spring and gives hope for a good future. The tradition of celebrating the holiday came from England. Today, snowdrops grow in many territories of the globe, but almost all of them are listed in the Red Book.We will show the participants of the event a video about the flower "Snowdrop Day". We will hold a master class on making a flower out of paper.
