"Women Heroes of the Soviet Union"

In the reading room of the Ishteryakovskaya rural library, it is planned to arrange a book-illustrated exhibition "Women Heroes of the Soviet Union in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945", telling about the exploits and destinies of compatriots who defended their Homeland. For the exploits performed during the Great Patriotic War, more than 90 girls and women were awarded the title of "Hero of the Soviet Union. Not everyone received this high award during the war years. Almost half of the participants in military events were awarded immediately after the Victory, and some were awarded decades after it.
