The Great Patriotic War has thousands of female faces . Women have written many glorious pages in the annals of the war. They were on the front line: medics, pilots, snipers, signalmen, scouts, drivers, topographers, even tankers, gunners and served in the infantry. Women fought for their homeland on an equal basis with men. It is planned to organize a book -illustrated exhibition dedicated to women and girls of the terrible forties, who changed shoes for soldiers' boots, dresses for overcoats.
