Peter the Great is one of the most famous rulers of all Russian history, reigned from 1689 to 1725, and after strengthening the state, choosing a new course of development of the country, proclaimed himself emperor. He became the first ruler in Russian historiography with such a title. The descendants of Peter from the Romanov dynasty, one after another, adopted this high title. In honor of the 350th anniversary of the birth of the Great Emperor, an hour of history will be held in the Ishteryakovskaya village Library.
