"St. George's Ribbon is a symbol of Victory"

All those who visited the library these days, as well as readers at home, were given a St. George ribbon – a symbol of respect for veterans and pride in the Great Victory. Everyone who participated was happy to support this action. Readers learned with interest about the meaning of the black and orange colors of the St. George ribbon, which denote smoke and flame, and it is a sign of personal valor of soldiers on the battlefield. The librarian wished readers not to forget who won the bloodiest war in the history of mankind and at what cost.
