Humanity will never forget that April day in 1961 when our compatriot Yuri Gagarin was the first in the world to open the road to space. April 12, since 1969, has been celebrated as World Aviation and Space Day. This day is dedicated to the opening of the space age.

During the event, viewers get acquainted with the biographies of Russian cosmonauts - Yuri Gagarin, German Stepanovich Titov, the first female cosmonaut Valentina Vladimirovna Tereshkova.
