International Mother Language Day is traditionally celebrated at 18:00 on February 21. There will be a native language lesson in the library. Those present will get acquainted with the history of the holiday, learn about the diversity of different languages of the world, discuss why their native language is dear to every people, and how important it is to preserve their native language. During the event, poems by Tatar poets will be read, the presenters will ask riddles, and hold a quiz. And at the end of the event, according to tradition, everyone will sing together the anthem of the Tatar language, a folk song to the words of G. Tukay “Tugan Tel”.
