The wonderful world of chess

In the days of the autumn holidays for pupils of initial classes in our library was conducted cognitive hour "Wonderful world of chess". We told the children about the history of the emergence of chess. Was introduced to an ancient legend about the wise men who invented chess as an alternative to war. A series of "Chess" educational cartoon series "Fixies", added our story. The children learned about famous historical figures, fond of this intellectual game. And of course, we spoke about the players included in the world history. (A. Alekhine, Karpov, V. Kramnik, Alisa Galliamova, etc.) To this day, the children came to the library with their grandparents, many of whom are also fans of the game. After the meeting the boys played a game of chess, read books about chess, spoke about how playing chess helps them in life.
