November 10, 1953 in the village of Polyana Kamskie opened library. The first librarian was there Cullen Mikhail, who graduated Elabuzhsky Library College. Work in the library, he gave thirty years.

  In 1981, construction began on the Kama Glades Tatar nuclear power plant. Library was given new premises: from the village house, she moved to a new two-bedroom apartment five-story building.

  In November 1983 Kalenova MI carried out on retirement. From the library of his hands took Egorova Tamara A. Sablin (Trofimov) Ludmila, specialists with library experience. And the library started a new life in a new place. The works had a lot: to settle in the new premises, import furniture, create a reference apparatus of the library. With the construction of the nuclear power plant library become heavily manned, you had to have time to handle the books in a timely manner to bring to the readers. It took a staff expansion, the library came a new employee Guryanov Irina.

    In 1987, the children's department of the library has been converted into a separate subsidiary. A year later, he was given a separate room. Head of children's branch become Trofimova Lyudmila.

   Over time, the library has expanded its area. She began to occupy three apartments on the first floor of a house. But in spite of this library has experienced a need to increase the area as book collection grew, the number of readers.

   In 2012, the library moved to a new building - the center of creativity "Success", which housed a music school, RTSDT "Rainbow" and two libraries for children and adults.

The library got a new room - bright, comfortable, equipped with new modern furniture and all the necessary technical means.
