«Cultural Diary of a schoolboy» is a Republican cultural and educational project, launched in 2014. The project is organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan. The developer of the project and the author of the official website (cultural diary.russian Federation, diary-culturе.ru) became the association "Tatarmultfilm". This project was personally supported by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnekhanov.

In the 2020-2021 academic year, the diaries of the cultural and educational project "Cultural Diary of a schoolboy" were donated to 30,754 students of grades 1-4 in Naberezhnye Chelny.

During the school year, students visited cultural institutions, historical places, both in their own city and in other regions of Tatarstan, as a class or with their parents. Children colorfully decorated the pages of the cultural diary, completed tasks, answered questions, added photos, made drawings and described their impressions of the books they read, about visiting museums and theaters, film screenings, concerts and performances.

In May, the completed diaries participated in the city competition among schoolchildren and their parents in two categories: "The best cultural diary of a student" and "The most cultural Parent".

The solemn awarding ceremony of the winners of the city stage of the competition will take place on May 27 at 13.00 in the Central City Library.

The winners of the project will also be invited on June 1 to the festive award ceremony at the State Educational Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan "Ekiyat Children's Center" in Kazan.
