15 February 2018 at the library branch No. 23, in the framework of the Day of memory of soldiers-internationalists in Russia, will be held thematic evening "to Remember, not to repeat". The event is addressed to young people. 9 years, 1 month and 18 days, continued the war in Afghanistan. More than 15 thousand of our soldiers died in a foreign land. It was the biggest losses of the Soviet Army of the great Patriotic War. What started this terrible war, what new terms have enriched the military jargon, as a profession of a helicopter pilot, how many people are missing – on this and many other know the guys during the event. Also, let's talk about heroes-fellow countrymen, reading the letters of soldiers. The evening will weave songs and poems about the Afghan war. The evening will end the memory of watching the video clip "Remember, comrade, we Afghanistan!".
