"The besieged city is invincible"

On January 26, the Library and Information Center will hold a Memorial Day "Besieged - Invincible City" dedicated to the lifting of the siege of Leningrad. From the librarian's story, the children will learn about the hardships that befell the inhabitants of besieged Leningrad, just as little Leningraders in the besieged city fought hunger, cold, death like Tanya Savicheva. The event will feature poems by Olga Bergholz, Anna Akhmatova and other poets. In conclusion, the children will watch the video "The Siege of Leningrad" and honor the memory of Leningrad residents with a minute of silence.
