That's a library!

“Welcome to the library!”- that was the motto of the Open day at the library.  During the day there were excursions “Librarian labyrinths”. Our visitors could learn more about the history, information service and resourses of the library. There was a book exhibition “Read and explore the world” for young readers. Readers took a part in a musical poetry hour "Songs, born from life". Invited guests of our event – a member of Russia and Tatarstan republic writers Union, member of Russia and Tatarstan republic journalists Union, poet and local historian Mansur Safin introduced citizens with his creative activity, a singer-songwriter Lyudmila Tkachuk sang versified songs of Chelny writers. As for kids, they travelled to Charles Perrault’s fairytales with Red little Hood and Forest Fairy. For children there was arranged сreation lessons "We draw a world". Also the visitors were asked the question like, "What does attract you in a library?" Literature competition "Remember everything", defined the winner and we awarded masters of literature.
