In the heroic chronicle of the Great Patriotic War of the Soviet people against the Nazi invaders, the feat of young underground workers of Krasnodon - members of the antifascist Komsomol organization "Young Guard" shines with an unfading page.

The guests of the library will be told about the history of the creation of the underground youth organization "Young Guard", which was created during the Great Patriotic War in Krasnodon. The library staff will also focus on the novel by A. Fadeev, which is called "The Young Guard". They will remember the tragic events of January 1943, when most of the members of the underground organization were executed.

During the event, fragments from documentaries and feature films will be used, songs and poems about the Young Guards will be performed.
