The library invites guests to an event dedicated to the holiday - National Unity Day, which occupies a special place among the state holidays of modern Russia.

The library staff will acquaint the participants of the event with the history of the holiday, the exploits of our ancestors in the name of the independence of the Motherland, as well as about the traditions of the celebration, its significance for Russia. Guests of the library will learn about the Time of Troubles, about Kuzma Minin and Dmitry Pozharsky, who headed the people's militia, about the feat of the Kostroma peasant Ivan Susanin.

During the meeting, those present will be able to understand that the history of Russia teaches us that apart, one by one, we cannot do what we can do together.

At the end of the event, a quiz "What we know about Russia" will be held for the participants.
