On February 21, the library-branch No. 10 invites everyone to a linguistic game as part of the celebration of the International Mother Tongue Day.

Every nation is a unique culture, history, traditions, way of life. And, of course, the language. It is a very important task to preserve the language base of both a large people and the smallest ethnic group. A meeting in the library will begin with a story about the diversity of languages on the planet, about the importance of learning your native language.

The event will continue with a game program, which will include various contests with tasks to test knowledge of the Russian language in various sections: phonetics, word formation, morphology, etc. These are such contests and games as "Choose the superfluous", "Pick up antonyms", "Archaisms", "When do they say that?", "Pick up a couple", "The letter got lost", etc.
