On February 18, on the eve of the International Mother Tongue Day, a tournament of Russian language experts will be held in the library-branch No. 10. The unifying principle in the multilingual space of our country is the Russian language. This holiday is a good reason to remember its meaning and rules.

An exciting game will help to find out how well the participants of the event know him. The game will begin with the greeting of the teams: the teams will introduce their captains, pronounce the motto, demonstrate the emblem.

The tournament will consist of five rounds: "Experts of the alphabet", "The proverb is not in vain", "Collect the word correctly", "What does it all mean?" and "Literate". During which interesting tasks are waiting for participants: quizzes, linguistic puzzles and games.

At the end of the event, the results will be summed up. The teams will be awarded diplomas of the winners and participants.
