"How do you live, Arsk?"

On April 21, an oral journal with elements of the business game "How are you living, Arsk?", Dedicated to the Day of Local Self-Government, was held in the Arsk Central Library. This day is included in the list of holidays by the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation on June 10, 2012 and is celebrated on April 21.
The aim of the event was to introduce the students of the 10th grade Arcoi Secondary School No. 2 and Arskaya Grammar School No. 5 with the history of the creation and activities of local self-government bodies in different periods of time, as well as involving children to participate in solving the issues of the city of Arsk.
Leaders who gave their strength and ability to serve people for the sake of improving their lives were invited to the event: the chief specialist of the Arskiy local branch of the United Russia party was Rimma Ramadovna Mamadeeva, the public assistant of the Ombudsman for Human Rights in the Republic of Tatarstan in the Arsk municipal district, Khidiyatov Rinat Alifkhanovich And the head of the Territorial Public Self-Government (TOS) "Zapadny" - Minzin Irek Rustamovich.
Opening the first section of the oral magazine "Pages from History" the librarian of the service department told about the history of self-government of Russia throughout its existence. An equally fascinating and informative part of the conversation was a speech by R. Khidiyatov, who described the picture of local self-government in Soviet times. Continuing the acquaintance with the magazine, under the heading "Realities and prospects of local self-government" Mamadeleyeva RR spoke in detail about the structure of local self-government and answered questions of the leading social and legal nature. The next part of the dialogue with IRzin IR contained material about the TOS work - as a form of direct power of citizens in the micro-territory. The main directions of the TOS activities were indicated and solutions of some issues of local importance were considered. The next heading "From own experience" children have opened, leaning against the school experience. Students of SSAH No.2 told about the Day of School Self-Government and noted that this work is necessary not only for obtaining basic legal knowledge, but also for correctly understanding and comprehending the value of self-made decisions. The fourth "Question-answer" column was held with elements of the business game and was a practical part of the oral journal. Participants listed the problems of the city that were troubling them and proposed their own solutions. Representatives of local government set themselves a number of tasks that require significant solutions.
For all those present in the reading room, an open review of the literature "Local self-government - the core of the state" was issued.
Thus, at the event, each participant received a lot of new and useful information. Such meetings are important and necessary for the rapprochement of local self-government bodies with the younger generation.
