Honey Savior is the first of three, sometimes called the First Savior. The holiday is celebrated every year on August 14th and coincides with the beginning of the Dormition Lent. On this day it is customary to honor beekeepers and their work.

The Melekess Rural Library will host a celebration dedicated to the very first Savior of August, the Honey Savior. The program includes: exhibition - conversation “Honey Savior”, honey riddles and proverbs, master class on making the Honey Savior symbol. A friendly tea party in warm company will help fill the air with the aroma of honey.
