I.S. Sokolov-Mikitov's books are a rich source of information about the world around us, from which we are sometimes so far away! His stories allow us to feel the diversity of life more fully and vividly, to see the beauty of the forest, to unravel its secrets, to better understand the charm of native nature, to become her friend.
The main theme in the writer's work was nature. Sunrise and sunset, forest, snowfall, ice drift - he wrote about all this with such love that, reading his books, it is impossible not to be imbued with his sense of admiration for the world of wildlife.
