Every year on January 27, the whole world commemorates the victims of the Holocaust. Acquaintance with the documentary novel by Soviet writer Anatoly Kuznetsov "Babi Yar" based on the author's childhood memories and the novel written by Irish writer John Boyne "The Boy in the Striped Pajamas" will introduce the younger generation to a terrible page in world history. Reading one of the chapters of the work and showing footage of the story of Dina Pronicheva, a witness to the events in Babi Yar during the German occupation, will help to create a true picture of the atrocities of the Nazi invaders during the Holocaust.
