On August 19, the Library and Information Center on the courtyard area for residents of the neighborhood will hold an hour of history "The Flag of Russia is the brainchild of Peter". The Day of the Russian Flag is a holiday of Russians, a tribute to the history of a great country. .The librarian will tell about the history of the origin and approval of the flag as one of the symbols of the state. Guests will take part in games, contests and an educational quiz that will help consolidate their knowledge about the trinity of symbols: the coat of arms, flag, anthem of the Russian Federation. From the books presented at the exhibition, participants will receive additional information about the state symbols. The event will end with the reading of poems about the Motherland and the awarding of prizes.
