Every year, January 27 marks the Day of the Complete Liberation of Leningrad from the Nazi blockade.

The siege of Leningrad became a symbol of the courage and endurance of the people, their ability to survive and resist in difficult conditions. The library's guests will walk through the streets of the besieged city, listen to the loudspeaker that supported Leningraders in those terrible years, and get acquainted with the harsh living conditions of the besieged city based on excerpts from eyewitness accounts. Poems by such famous authors as Olga Bergolts, Mikhail Dudin, and Anna Akhmatova will be performed. The event will be accompanied by musical compositions dedicated to the besieged Leningrad.
