A symbol of honor and glory
We invite everyone to a themed meeting dedicated to one of the main national holidays of our country, the Day of the Russian Flag. The librarian will provide an exciting story about the history of the Russian tricolor flag. You will learn about the earliest banners of Ancient Rus, how the white, blue, and red flag became the official trade symbol of the country under the decree of Peter the Great, the changes it underwent during the Soviet era, and when it returned as the national symbol of modern Russia.
