On April 26, the birthday of the beloved Tatar poet Gabdulla Tukai is celebrated. His books teach children the beauty of their native land, kindness, urge them to be merciful, just and brave. The name of Gabdulla Tukai is known not only in Tatarstan, but also far beyond its borders. He is known by everyone who appreciates art, who loves poetry. Tukai's work is multifaceted: he is a poet and a publicist, a literary critic and a public figure. The library will host a literary hour dedicated to the poet's work. At the event, children will learn about the poet's difficult childhood, about his life and work, read poems in which he touched on the theme of the Motherland, the native language, the life of ordinary people. A literary quiz "Guess the work of Tukai" will be held. The event will end with the performance of the song "Tugan Tel", which has become the anthem of the Tatar people.
