Shakirov Ilgam Gilmutdinovich (15.02.1935 - 16.01.2019) is a legend of the Tatar stage. People's Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan, People's and Honored Artist of Russia, Laureate of the Gabdulla Tukai State Prize of the Republic of Tatarstan. Ilgam Shakirov is an outstanding Tatar singer, whose work is a whole epoch in the performing arts. For twenty years he held the position of artistic director of the Tatar State Philharmonic named after him. Tukaya, was her lead singer-vocalist. The winner of a high award in the field of art "Golden Apollo". The library will host a memorial evening dedicated to the life and work of the great Tatar singer. The librarian will introduce interesting facts from the life of the Honored artist, audio and video recordings of songs performed by I. Shakirov will be played, a video presentation about the life of Ilham Shakirov will be shown.
