This year marks the 37th anniversary of the largest accident in the history of mankind – the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. This accident affected the fate of millions of people. Chernobyl has forever entered world history and has become a painful and bitter memorable date for several generations.

An hour-requiem "Chernobyl: How it Was" is planned to be held in the Ishteryakovskaya village library for senior schoolchildren. With the help of multimedia presentations and fragments of documentaries, children will learn more about the tragic days of the Chernobyl events.
