A Brief History of the Central Children's Library.
September 18, 1967 3-room apartment with an area of 42 sq.m. a five-storey residential building opened a library for children. Its book fund was then 2830 copies. In 1977, when the centralization of libraries, this library has received the status of the Central Children's Library. From 1977 to 1983 he headed the team of Maria G. Belyaev, who initially worked in the library reading room head.

From 1999 to the present day at the library operates a literary club for younger readers, "Honor-ka."
