To the 185-th anniversary of D. I. Mendeleev held for the eighth grade study-practical action. The acquaintance was accompanied by a rich electronic presentation, from which the children learned about the scientist's family, his life and scientific discoveries. Students read out the scientific facts on which Mendeleev worked, conducted experiments on aerodynamics, on the properties of liquids and gases, talked about the possibility of new scientific discoveries.
