St. George Ribbon

On the eve of the Victory Day celebration in Russia, the All-Russian campaign "St. George's Ribbon" has started. Our library, together with kindergarten No. 33, joined this action.
The St. George ribbon is a symbol of the holiday, a symbol of our respect for the people who won this terrible war, a symbol of respect and memory for the fallen. This is our memory, our attitude to the events that took place from 1941 to 1945. These are dead soldiers and peaceful home front workers, these are children and widows of war, this is besieged Leningrad, these are concentration camps, these are burned villages. These are our grandfathers and great-grandfathers. This is our pain, this is our pride...
