On the eve of Shrovetide Week, the doors of the library refectory opened in our branch. Academicians told about different national dishes of the world. Thanks to Internet resources, children learned about the Spanish dessert "Churros", which is made from deep-fried custard dough. Everyone was interested in its name "Shepherd's Pie". Traditional Tatar and Russian treats were presented in folk costumes, and recipes were read out from the books of the library fund. Especially the guys liked to guess the names of dishes according to the described recipes. It is gratifying that the girls describe in detail the step-by-step preparation from their experience.
