"Like in Shrovetide week" in the park of reading and recreation named after G.Tukai

On March 10, in the park of reading and recreation named after G. Tukai, a folk festival "As in Shrovetide Week" was held, dedicated to such a favorite holiday of all Russian people as Maslenitsa. Visitors of the festival learned the history of Maslenitsa, how exactly each of the days of Maslenitsa week is called, and how our ancestors celebrated and joked on Maslenitsa. It was offered to answer the quiz questions related to the holiday, and the children were happy to take part in games and round dances: "Rucheek", "Relay Race", "Tug of War", "At the bear in the forest", "Shooting at a target with snowballs", " Bells»

Librarians told about the books in which you can read about the history of Russian holidays.

We hope that everyone who participated or attended the events learned something new, important, and useful. Well, we, the library staff, will stock up on new ideas and prepare for the next meetings.
