Artyukhova Nina Mikhailovna lived a long life-89 years (1901-1990)

The daughter of the book publisher M. V. Sabashnikov received a wonderful education at the Potocka Gymnasium. The girl was fond of chemistry and astronomy, so in 1918 she entered the Moscow State University at the agrochemical Department of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics. But she always wanted to write. The first stories "White Goat Alba" and "Svetlana" were written by Artyukhova at the beginning of the XX century and brought her great fame, becoming one of the best works of Russian children's literature. All the works of the writer teach children to be kind and fair, brave and honest, true to their word.
