"Remember the past"

On May 27, 1920, a decree was signed on the formation of the Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. This event was preceded by a large and painstaking work, which was carried out by the commission under the direction of V.I. Lenin. In the library, for the 100th anniversary of the TASSR, a retro-screening of documentaries was held: "Remember the past."

    Everyone held their breath, carefully and with interest watched the documentary: "How did it start ...". The film reflected the historical facts of the emergence of a new republic: the designation of the territorial borders of the TASSR, which have not changed since then; detailed information is given about the first people's commissariats, the leaders of the young republic, and so on.

     After watching documentaries, those present remembered their youth, shared stories about how they themselves built the city and the Nizhnekamsk giant of oil and chemistry.

    The event ended with a quiz: "Back to the USSR ...". With excitement, youthful enthusiasm, everyone answered the questions of the presenter. We were pleased to consider the information desk, where things and objects of the 60-80s were presented.

     The meeting was held in a warm and confidential atmosphere.
