“In Alliance with the Reader”

November 12 marks the 65th anniversary of Yuri Mikhailovich Polyakov, a well-known Russian writer, poet, playwright, journalist, and television presenter.
It is not necessary to introduce it to readers. "The youngest classic" he was called a few years ago by the patriarch of Russian literature Sergei Mikhalkov. Polyakov is the author of many popular and acutely contemporary works: “Goatling in Milk”, “One Hundred Days Before the Order”, “Apofegay”, “Work on Errors”, “Parisian Love by Kostya Gumankov”, etc.
     All the books of Yuri Polyakov presented on a thematic shelf in the reading room of the city library “In Alliance with the Reader” were made into films. Also at the exhibition you can get acquainted with publications of different years of the novel “One Hundred Days Before the Order”.
     A review was conducted at the exhibition for the tenth-graders of 16th school and readers who visited the library that day, where guests got acquainted with the writer's creative way and the author’s books were recommended to them. Readers also got acquainted with the works of Yuri Polyakov in the cinema.
     The meeting was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere, filled with inspiration and an atmosphere of vivid emotions.
   The event was attended by 17 people.
